You can store virtually any files or folders on your PC within the Vault, and they will be encrypted and invisible to anyone but you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"padding-bottom:15px;\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 style=\"color:#2B93D1;\">How to scan your documents<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"embed-responsive embed-responsive-16by9\" style=\"padding: 5% 0% 5% 0%;\"><iframe class=\"embed-responsive-item\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/469589574\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" title=\"Pro-Tec - Documents - How to scan\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Select <strong>Scan<\/strong> to search for documents on your computer that may contain personal information and are stored in the more common folders, such as \u2018My Documents\u2019, \u2018Desktop\u2019 etc\u2019.<\/li><li>Select \u2018Deep Scan\u2019 for a full computer scan. Please note \u2013 the deep scan may take a while as it goes through all of your computer files in search of such sensitive information containing documents.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.idseal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/ProTec_Documents_11.jpg\" alt=\"image how to Scan documents\" class=\"wp-image-2647\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<a id=\"dv-scan-results\">\n<h4 style=\"color:#2B93D1;padding-top: 140px; margin-top: -100px;\">Understanding the scan results<\/h4><\/a>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"embed-responsive embed-responsive-16by9\" style=\"padding: 5% 0% 5% 0%;\"><iframe class=\"embed-responsive-item\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/469589657\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" title=\"Pro-Tec - Documents - Understanding the scan results\"><\/iframe><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon completion of the documents scan, you will see a list of found documents, each document type, and the detection type.<br>Per each document, you can either ignore it or move it to the documents vault.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Ignore:<\/strong>&nbsp;The ignore option will leave the documents in their current locations and skip it in the next document scan.<\/li><li><strong>Move to Vault:<\/strong>&nbsp;moving a document to the vault will both encrypt the document with a high level file encryption algorithm as well as remove it from its original location.
